First Update--Plenty of Firsts

Originally written June 24, 2012

We just got back from a fishing trip of firsts in La Paz, Mexico with one of the SASCO Group Presidents, Jason Reed, and his guests.
Three of the guys on this trip caught their first Marlin. Next on the first list, we caught our first Dorado of the season, with one estimated to be 30 pounds! Continuing on the firsts related to this trip, it was the first time any of our guests saw or caught Amberjack, Dog Tooth Snapper, or the elusive Black Skipjack.

We enjoyed great weather and calm seas as usual here in La Paz, while catching fish and watching dolphins and manta rays jump around the boat. If you see Jason around, ask him for his impression of his first trip fishing aboard the El Navegante.

We are getting ready to move the boat down to Cabo San Lucas to fish the Stars & Stripes charity tournament this coming Friday and Saturday. Then we will be back in La Paz the first week in July.
Our calendar is filling up, but we still have weekend of the 4th of July available… so come on down!
